Ever wonder what the cover of BioShock would be if it came out on the Atari 2600?  Well the people at The Minus World have provided that glimpse of that alternate past with their Atari Modern Classics gallery.  Fans submitted current popular games with a Atari look, including one for BioShock.  Check out the entire gallery at The Minus World.

That is awesome, I would buy an old 2600 off of ebay just to play that. Unless of course they made one that would go in my Atari 130XE, it is still up and running great.

How about a minigame version of this in your next game, like the MFD games in SS2?

OMG! The minigames in SS2… sooo cool! 😀

Maybe someone could make a little indie Bioshock 2D game, like they did with Half-Life 2… something like Time FCUK (http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/511754)

I think it would be a great game and idea even in 8-bit! I would play….release it on XBLA for a small number of points, or……..make it an unlockable in bshock2? anything would be kewl. or as an iphone app.

That’s rather awesome. You should release a game like that like Capcom’s doing for that Dark Void game.

I feel like people would have said this game was “ahead of its time” had it actually seen life on the Atari 2600.

I don’t know what you guys are thinking, but that looks way too good for the Atari, looks like it belongs on the NES.

The site is down now. Could the link be updated to another place to view it, or have the files they were kept put somewhere here?
