Are you a life-long gamer? Is your ever-growing collection a point of pride? Do you go out of your way to bring your favorites to be autographed at your favorite conventions? Would you like to have a voice in how a video game is made? We want to hear from you!
As we journey towards the end of 2011, we’re entering the season of reflection, gazing at the past year, and looking forward to the next. While we’re in the thick of creating BioShock Infinite, one common thought occurred as we reminisce about this past year: We’d love nothing more than to better understand how you play games.
To do just that, we’ve created this survey to help us get a better grasp on what’s important to you, our wonderful fans. To take this survey, simply head to survey.irrationalgames.com – It only takes a few moments of your time, and better yet, it’s your chance to be heard!

I hope they truly do take their questions about BioShock 1 into consideration for BioShock Infinite!
borrego | December 6, 2011 1:10 pm
Done and done.
losstarot | December 6, 2011 1:13 pm
All done! I just hope our answers won’t make it too difficult for you to take into consideration as, it’s a fact we loved Bioshock 1, but some of us aren’t against something not following the exact recipe.

felonious | December 6, 2011 7:35 pm
Tried completing the survery but said the quote for my group has already been met. I can only hope I was in the cool kids group!
shocker22 | December 6, 2011 9:58 pm

laforzadimente | December 7, 2011 1:01 am
That’s odd…if anything, results are more accurate with a larger sample size.
1019ice | December 6, 2011 9:24 pm

It’s always sad when my age is in a “_____ & UP” catch-all category. (sob)
ismell | December 7, 2011 3:35 pm

dennistrukt | December 15, 2011 1:22 pm

choo1701 | December 15, 2011 2:49 pm
Or if your aren’t an ‘avid gamer’ :/ … … .. Maybe we should start our own club! With … BEER!! 😉

Nice little survey, wish more devs got this kind of direct feedback from their fanbase.
icegrove | December 8, 2011 1:42 pm
Like the questions about Bioshock 1.
magicmaker | December 8, 2011 9:48 pm
Glad to help out.. and here’s a few more personal thoughts…
Make em tougher and longer with the ability to keep playing. I want a challenge and after spending countless hours building a character hate it when I finish and now have to abandon him,
miiamigo | December 15, 2011 3:42 pm
Yeah I think Skyrim is a perfect example of your point. Which is something I totally agree with as well. The story ends but the character progression continues with all your skills and stuff.

Interesting set of questions. I really felt this was a very through survey. I hope my input helps the game developers understand what someone in sphere likes and didn’t like about Bioshock.
mbourgon | December 10, 2011 9:48 am
Nifty. I failed. I only ever got 25% of the way through Bioshock/SS2… Because I’m not much on being scared. Somehow I made it through other games (Doom, Quake, even SS1) that are scary, but not those 2. Probably because it wasn’t just “boo” scary.
If only they’d asked about Freedom Force!
miiamigo | December 15, 2011 3:28 pm
Well heck it sure felt good to particiapte in a survey that has to do with something I loved to play.
stephaniegriner | December 17, 2011 2:31 pm
