Our series of BioShock Infinite video featurettes continues with a look at the conflict erupting between Columbia’s dominant factions, the ultranationalist Founders and the anarchical Vox Populi.
Stay tuned for the next video explaining Elizabeth’s ability to manipulate tears–and then the release of the full E3 2011 gameplay demonstration.

Great video, love hearing more about the conflict between the Founders and the Vox Populi! The skylines video set up some of the gameplay but this sets up the mood and atmosphere of what is going on and that is what I am looking forward too most!

Does the guy laughing at 2:13 remind anyone of a few characters in fallout 3 maybe the same voice actor

Though it’s still not really clear what’s player controlled and what’s not, It does really look amazing.

Awesome. Good for clarification as to how exactly the two groups got started. I’m REALLY looking forward to the tears video. That’s still one of the most intriguing bits of this game so far.

and looks like with what they call tears.. you can bring any of those rivals.. and fight each other

Once you enter the Vox Populi’s territory, Don’t expect a warm handshake

Crank-based reloading on a rocket launcher? Hell yes! I can’t wait for it. Irrational, when are you going to announce the collector’s Edition so you can have my money?
egocide | June 16, 2011 4:52 pm
actually I’m confused. there have been a couple of trailers for infinite and now there is also this series. it feels like it would be coming out in a couple of months but actually it comes out in 2012. can somebody explain? advance release date? D:
batchick21 | June 16, 2011 5:00 pm
I just recently got into BioShock, I hate FPS games but this has changed my mind. The Vox Populi sound like a pretty b.a. group, can’t wait to play this game!

I’m super excited for this. My most anticipated game, easily, which makes the release date rather painful. Keep up the good work IG

WANT…NEED this game so bad! If 2012 is the end of the world I want this game before it happens!
zingdaffo | June 17, 2011 6:34 am
I like it how Irrational have these big open spaces that are good for big shootouts, but also in the spirit of the other Bioshocks and as you can see from the video also have these macabre, even spooky parts to the game also well, imagine walking down an alley like in the video and a body been thrown from the window. Keep up the good work, this is the top of my list!!!!!!

beautiful graphics and better gameplay

So… class warfare? Hopefully, it will not be too derivative of Fontaine versus Ryan. I wonder if the story developers pose any solutions after all the warring wanes. This trailer is about dominant factions? What about smaller factions? Also, does Columbia continue traveling around the world as game progresses? Where is Columbia finding its resources? Does it descend on non-floating cities and plunder them? It would be really cool to see new parts of the city built as others are destroyed. Bioshock never showed the city’s former glory, what it was meant to be, and what it could be under reasonable leadership.

Looking really good. I love to see that there are alot of citizens that don’t attack the minute they see you.

what would be cool is if you killed a certain amount of one faction, the other would like help you or give you gifts or something…
