Perhaps the songbird noise as a notification?

How about the clicking noise the Skyhook makes when jumping between Sky-Lines? Or the noise made when Booker opens a new vigor?

The tune that plays when you charge the power conduits with Shock Jockey would be perfect as a text tone!

Skyhook, The Zeppelin horn/honk sound, maybe a few Vigor sounds, like the sound you get when using possession on turrets & vendors, and the Piano stingers from exploding heads & skyhook executions

Would you kindly release ye ol’ BioShock sound files too? Some Lil Sis, Mr B, Cohen, Ryan, Atlas, Circus of Values and El Ammo Bandito machines.

I’m voting for a sound from the ammo machine, when it says “Dangerous times, dangerous measures, protect your women and your treasures” — I laughed every time I heard that!

Would really like an instrumental ringtone of the musical piece during the fresh hair ad from Bioshock 1; it’s memorable because it plays on the title screen for a bit and fades out, but it never got released on a soundtrack. :/

Please Oh, Please, the fog horn sequence between the lighthouse and columbia, i think that would make an awesome ringtone or an alarm to wake up to.

I’ve been so distracted lately – I’m trying to force myself to remember anything not covered here which would also work with the fact you can’t use some songs and voices… But all I came up with was the Vox singing at Shantytown…. Dang.

How about some shorter tones that could be assigned to text message, email and other alert notifications? Perhaps a Vigor themed pack? I was thinking of all 8 sounds that you hear when equiping/selecting a vigor.

It would be pretty sweet to hear the intense sound you get from selecting Bucking Bronco any time that you recieve a text message. Or the flapping of wings you hear when selecting Murder of Crows, or the sound from Undertow, etc. etc.

Side note: As a ringtone, I too favor the idea of the chime song that plays whenever you power something up with Shock Jockey.

Could you possibly get a sound clip from the end of the song that is used when fighting enemies? The little notification at the end of the song to indicate that the enemies have been cleared?

I cant seem to move the ringtones to my iphone 5. Its in the .m4r format. For some reason it won’t let me do it unless I sync my phone, which will delete everything i have on it. Any suggestions?

I’d love some of the anachronistic songs as ringtones, plus the things the Handyman says as notifications. These are a great start, thanks Irrational!

As for the suggestion, I think the hardcore violin when you finish a battle would be a cool ringtone. Also the previously suggested Shock Jockey as well.

I would like the little jingle or bell that the security automata and mosquitos make when they target an enemy and the sound the zeppelins make ( the horn that announces their arrival ). I am still waiting for the whistle that the security bots made in the original Bioshock.

We definitely need a handful of the clever exchanges between lutece(s). The short comments from Elizabeth in combat would be perfect too as well as the sound when combat ends, when you change vigors, and when you open an infusion.

It always makes me chuckle when you are out of combat and elizabeth says, “Hey! I found some money!” and you yell back “Perfect timing!” that would be a fun one. Really any of the playful comments throughout the story between Booker and Elizabeth would be perfect..like when booker says that the city is floating because of balloons for example.

I also think “bring us the girl and wipe away the debt” and the lighthouse, man, and city quotes would be great. When I think about it really anything would be awesome, but in the next pack there should definitely be some shorter tones that would work as text message notifications.

As stated by other members, a ringtone that is a conversation between lutece(s) arguing whether your is ringing or how it is has rung, is ringing, and will ring, or some other form of clever banter would make my day every time I got a call. I would actually pay for a ringtone like that. 🙂

Or on the other hand, if you don’t like my ideas then why not work on those DLCs? I can only wait for so long 😛

There is a chime that is played when the shock jockey generator is powered up. Sounds like a door bell. I’d like to see that added.
