I love it!! Really reminds me of the Brute Splicers from BS2, with that agile Gorilla-like behavior.
I like this head, but I sure hope they will bring back the other head with the mustache as well, that one has this real steam-punk, late 19th century feel to it. Would be nice to still have that head around, even just for variety.

Awesome stuff. I too liked the mustache head, especially with the bowler hat.

I too prefer the moustachioed head with the bowler hat.

Ya I was a big fan of the mustache head as well, but either way this game and this world looks amazing.

It is such a terrifying character because of the little details put into making him. The facial features, body and hand design, and the explanation of his name builds this Frankenstein monster where you feel sad for him because what he must have gone through, but at the same time you are terrified because of how grotesque he looks. It is like taking the helmet off of the Big Daddy and seeing the pain firsthand.

Same as above, I’d like their gentleman look back if possible.
And I’m wondering if they’re gonna be able to throw horses, ennemies or whatever comes into their hands including cannon balls etc.
Otherwise, great but short vid ^^

A nice few tidbits there. Describing them as ‘tragic’ – very intriguing.

Can’t wait to learn the tragic background of these characters–I still think Fink is involved somehow. Since these are obviously made from humans, there will be a range of faces. People shouldn’t get hung up on one style. (Or one piece of facial hair. LOL)

Since we know that the Motorized Patriot has no sense of self-preservation, I wonder if other enemies might scatter when a Handyman enters the area? Kind of makes for a nice self-contained boss fight since the Handyman seems like a handful (no pun intended).

Along those same lines, if a Handyman picks up a Motorized Patriot to throw at you, will he yell, “Fastball special!”?
    😉

The Handyman feels like a mix of a Brute Splicers, head and a Big Daddy, body and colour change if friend or enemy.

I really hope you have variants of the Handymen (both bald and ‘attachable’ mustache/brawler hair) that appear in the final game.

When I saw the name Handyman, I immediately thought of the Handyman from Timesplitters, they’re somewhat different however.

I kinda like the first face that was put on this character. You know the one that was featured on the cover of Game Informer. But this still works for me.

This is incredible. The Handymen kind of resemble Robert De Niro’s version the Monster from Frankenstein, I love it! The detail put into it is amazing, genius work.

Everything looks great. These vids show a lot of passion for games at Irrational. I l love it when their faces light up and say WOW when they talk about Infinite.

Also, that is some great music in the background. The symphony of sound effects is wonderful too. I read that Ken tries to make out with the designers when he likes their stuff. Anything like for the music/sound team?

Man? Machine? Hand model? Why not all three? Just call them H-men. It is an easy segue from G-men, somewhat connecting back to the underlying theme of the Infinite.

I’m beyond excited to get a closer look at one of the handymen in the game but PLEASE give some of them the detachable hair. I thought the original design we saw in 2010 was brilliant!

If the handyman is somehow related to Alexis Carrel and the immortal chicken heart, well, the history nerd inside me is going to be very happy.
