lustrick | April 23, 2012 5:15 pm
Oh my god that is amazing.
codex | April 23, 2012 5:35 pm
That is pretty darned awesome. I can’t wait for that one to go on sale!
japester | April 23, 2012 5:58 pm
LOL. For some reason, even after gameplay videos and that toy demo, I still have a hard time visualizing exactly how the skyhook works. I guess I’ll have a lightbulb moment one of these days.
How big will the warning sticker be that states, “WILL NOT SUPPORT YOUR WEIGHT. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SUSPEND YOURSELF FROM THIS DEVICE.”? 😛

The bar thing that pushes the twirly bit out needs to lock somehow when the hook grabs the wire and it retracts somehow against the pull of the wire
joemommak1200 | April 24, 2012 7:40 am
Yeah, to be able to engage the line from a descent, the hooks would have to be offset to one side or the other. But alas…it is a video game, just roll with it.

Wow. That is just amazing! o.o!
melchor | April 23, 2012 8:22 pm
Is that a piece of bubblegum holding the pin through the twirly thing on?
icegrove | April 23, 2012 9:59 pm

Sweet is the sound of the ratcheting gears…
it dances around like music to my ears.
I wait excitedly to purchase the beloved Sky-hook
I don’t even notice how much from my wallet it took!
juan29zapata | April 29, 2012 12:05 am
Whoa, it actually works! It looks amazing! Hope I can eventually have it!

Would be more convincing demonstrating how you actually grab a Skyline cable with it. (It doesnt look like it has a spring strong enough to retract (and lock) as a real one would have to.
voxoneser12 | June 11, 2012 6:48 am
im curious on how you ride on the skyline with that and why does it spin? i guess we’ll see when bioshock infinite comes out 2-26-13
